As I hope you all know by now, Iban will take part in his first ever Giro d`Italia this coming Saturday, the 12th of May. Iban will, together with Riccó and Piepoli, be Gilberto Simoni`s super-domestiques in the mountains. Hopes are high that Iban will have recovered sufficiently from his knee-pains come the start, though, at the time of writing, I don`t know anything more than you on Iban`s health and condition. Though, if he`s feeling well, he`ll for sure be one to look out for when the roads start pointing towards the sky. Iban may look for a stage-win on an occasion, but will spend most of his time at Gibo`s side. I have heard Iban is training hard and out of his past problems. He dont have a lot of days of competition and he will go to the Giro to help Gibo, but I hope y could have freedom and Saunier play with two cards, always thinking in a good condition for Iban. Saunier have more people than Iban to help Gibo.
