Brief: García 10th in Bayern stage 3

Ricardo García continued his push for a top ten overall placing in the Bayern Rundfahrt today with a tenth place on day three that took him up to 12th overall.

Petacchi sprinted to his second win of the race from a bunch sprint. All Euskaltel riders finished up inside the pack.

Everyone bar Rubén Pérez and Pablo Urtasun are placed 36 seconds down on GC.

    I´m really impressed by Ricardo Garcia´s performance. He was in top20 in every stage. Today he had a very good position after the last corner, so an even better result would have been possible. I´m also happy for Alan Perez, who has not lost any time by now after an so far awful season.
    On the other side I´m surprised about Pablo Urtasun. He was last of the Euskaltel-riders in every stage by now. I thought he would be the sprint captain.

    Yeah, not quite sure what happened to Urtasun - he looked to be in good shape!
