As expected, Iban has asked for his B-sample to be tested. Iban reacted with disbelief when he heard he was positive for EPO, telling Saunier head "Matxin" time and time again over the phone: "This is not possible, this is not possible". When the B-sample will return is at time being unknown.

I just wanted to say that I love your blog, and hope you stick with it even after the b sample results.
Also I am still hoping it will just be a mistake but the fact is I am a fan of Ibans because he is one of the best, and most deffinately, the classiest climber ever. That is why he is still my hero and I hope yours too.
(p.s. Great blog, please don't change it to just Euskaltel, keep it about Iban as even if things do go worse would still be nice to hear what he is up to.)
I think my blog will stay the same even if the B-sample is positive. I`ve almost made up my mind
Well, the question is:
Is he lying or not?
I really don't know...
I hope btw that someone like Millar (who is since he doped himself on a sort of war against doping) can prove that Mayo didn't use EPO.
Anyway, whatever Mayo has done you seem determined to continue with this blog, and I think that more people than you would imagine are really happy about that. Keep it up! Fingers crossed for Sanchez in the Vuelta, btw.
@Magnus: I don't know, just hoping for a good solution to this nightmare.
Then we`re two:D

Well, look at the 26th rider. The race was today.
Can someone explain me. On the Saunier website his name isn't mentioned.
Only thing I can think of is that they changed Iban Mayoz with him, which happens more than often.
iban mayoz & iban mayo are two different persons...
PS@magnus: I'm glad that your blog will (most likely) stay the same!
Hehe, oke, now they changed it on the website. There was seriously written:
26. Iban Mayo Diez (Esp) SDV
But oke, as I thought they changed him with Mayoz
