Markel 11th in Giro

Though this day belongs to Iban, and only him, I felt I should post something on the Euskaltel riders` performances as well. It was actually a surprisingly good performance from the whole team, as Markel Irizar and Iván Velasco both came in with the leading group on today`s rather hilly stage. Markel crossed the line in a brilliant 11th place, while Iván, who`s still suffering from a broken rib, came across at the same time in 23rd place. It was impressive stuff from the duo, who`ve both showed what they`re made of in Italy. Koldo Fernández came home 23:18 adrift, while the heroic Antton Luengo came home two seconds later. Well done to all of them!
