Tour team set
Euskaltel's nine-man team for the Tour de France was revealed today, and Amets Txurruka is the surprise inclusion.
The team will as expected by headed up by Samuel Sánchez - who's reported to be approaching some solid form at altitude in the Sierra Nevada - and will be completed by Tour veterans Gorka Verdugo, Egoi Martínez, Rubén Pérez and Mikel Astarloza, while the trio of Gorka Izagirre, Pablo Urtasun and Jorge Azanza will all line up for the second time.
There's no official word from the team, but trustworthy news outlets like BiciCiclismo and Gara carry the news, so it should be the real deal.
The team will head for France on Wednesday the 27th - Samu from Oviedo, Asturias, and the rest from Bilbao.

Each year the same guys...:-) However I'm pleased with Amets, let's hope he does not crash the first week! No Sicard means probably he will leave the team next year.
Sicard is under contract for next year, so hopefully he'll stay around!
Will Sicard line up for La Vuelta you think? I'm growing increasingly impatient with him!
I've been trying to get in touch with him for, like, forever, but I haven't been able to, so I don't really know. But I assume he will, together with Antón, Landa etc. Actually I'm pretty convinced he will - let's hope so anyway. Time to prove his worth
Probably wrong post to express this and wrong priorities as well with the Tour soming up, but... What a team of climbers we are set for in the Vuelta! Antón, Nieve, Landa, a crash-free Velasco and a Sicard back in action with Dauphine 2010-form! Watch out Contador..
Looking good for the Vuelta, yes! They will meet a big challenge though, as the two best climbers in the world (Contador & A.Schleck) will be there as well...
