Simoni: "Iban can be the best"

In an interview with Spanish newspaper Noticias de Gipuzkoa yesterday, Italian stage-race specialist Gibo Simoni gave his opinion on Iban. When asked of his opinion on Iban joining Saunier, he said: "This is a good opportunity for him to demonstrate his qualities. He`s got character, and he`s a winner. In this equipment he can take another step; though, it`s important not to put too much pressure on him." When asked further if Iban was among the best cyclists in the world, Gibo said: "I believe that he can become the very best." So, not too much pressure in that statement, that`s for sure....
