Eyjafjallajökull keeps Sergio out of Amstel

The closure of the European airspace has resulted in a lot of teams struggling to get their riders to Maastricht, Netherlands in time to take part in today's Amstel Gold Race. A lot of teams have been forced to start with fewer than eight riders, Euskaltel being one of them. Sergio didn't make it to the Netherlands and thus Euskaltel will have seven men on the start-line today. Those are Egoi, Gorka, Mikel, JJ, Iñaki, Aitor Galdós and Iván.
