Urtasun heads up Paris-Tours charge

Pablo Urtasun, fresh off winning stage seven of the Tour of Britian, will be looking to add another top result to his best season yet as a professional when he spearheads Euskaltel's charge in Sunday's Paris-Tours.

Urtasun will lead a team consisting of Mikel Astarloza, Romain Sicard, Adrián Sáez, Ricardo García, Pierre Cazaux and Rubén Pérez, reports the team's website. The Urtasun, who had a string of top three placings this spring and finally broke his duck recently in the UK, might well find the sprinter friendly, it not totally flat, run-in to his liking, while the others will naturally be charged with being aggressive in the hope of pulling off the unexpected and thus securing the team some much-needed UCI points.
