VCL stage 2: Gorka out, Pablo 4th

The second stage of the Vuelta a Castilla y León proved to be a hectic one for the team. It started off even before the stage got underway as Gorka decided to pull out of the race due to strong stomach pains. Too bad, he's a quality rider, but he'll probably be back riding before you know it. With 20 clicks to go, after the customary breaks had been caught, the peloton split, leaving a 22-man strong group at the head of the race. Igor and some of the other guys were perfectly placed and got into the group, but somehow Igor managed to crash out of it soon afterwards. Thanks to a concerted and impressive effort from the team though, he managed to get back up to the leading peloton. It came down to the anticipated sprint, and Pablo was once again right in there grabbing 4th. Good ride from him. Jorge, Jonathan and Miguel came in with another group 2:51 back, totally exhausted after giving their all for their captain.
