Star trio sign on
Igor Antón, Mikel Landa and Ion Izagirre all committed their future to Euskaltel today, www.biciciclismo.com reports.
The trustworthy website claims the trio have all penned two year contracts, keeping them with the orange team 'till the end of the 2014 season at least. This very site reported a fortnight ago that 22-year-old Landa had prolonged his stay with the team, and this has now been confirmed by the team.
Ion Izagirre joins his brother Gorka in staying with his home team, while Antón, set to lead the team in the Vuelta a España later this month, will have been an Euskaltel rider for ten years when his new contract comes to an end after joining as a stagiare in 2004.

Good news!
Now, can we sign a TT coach please?
That's about as likely as Igor Antón winning Paris-Roubaix I'm afraid!

A stated aim for Wiggins in 2013, have to wait a bit longer for an orange clad winner I think...and Wiggins has said that his TT has improved in the past 12 months due to the work he put in. Given that he was already pretty bloody good, if he can improve then I'm sure that our guys can too.
