Landaluze officially cleared

Euskaltel rider and 2005 Dauphiné Libéré victor Iñigo Landaluze has offically been cleared of a positive doping test conducted after the Dauphiné that same year. Iñigo returned a positive test for testosterone after winning the prestigious French stage-race, but always declared himself innocent. Iñigo was stopped from riding the first half of the 2006 season, but returned at the Volta a Catalunya after the Spanish Cycling Federation cleared him of any wrong doing. Iñigo, along with the cycling federation, claimed the B-test, examined at the infamous Châtenay-Malabry laboratory, wasn`t conducted according to the rules, something that was proven later on. CAS, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, has thus cleared him. Great news for Euskaltel-Euskadi, Iñigo and of course us fans, who appreciate this magnificent rider a lot.
