Orbea struggle in Gironde

Orbea took part in the three-day Tour de Gironde in France which ended yesterday. The squad of six, comprising of Mikel Ilundain, Adrián Sáez de Arregi, Joseba Larralde, Beñat Urain, Noel Martín and Andoni Blázquez, struggled throughout the three stages and didn't really succeed in coming to grips with the hard racing. None of the guys recorded any top-30 results on stages as far as I'm aware, and the GC thus turned out to be dismal reading: Larralde 44th, Ilundain 59th, Urain 72nd, Blázquez 73rd and Martín 88th, while Adrián stepped off after the second day. Not impressive, but at this stage of their careers it's more about learning than winning.
