Euskaltel for Vlaanderen

Euskaltel will ride the Ronde van Vlaanderen, or the Tour de Flanders as it`s commonly known, on Sunday with the following eight men: Andoni Aranaga, Unai Uribarri, Alan Pérez, Iban Mayoz, Andoni Lafuente, Markel Irizar, Iban Iriondo and Koldo Fernández. As it`s a cobbled one-day race, Euskaltel won`t mix it up with the best teams, that`s for sure. Though, hopes are that Koldo will finish the race and perhaps get an honourable placing, say top 40. The same team will probable also take on the Gent-Wevelgem and Paris-Roubaix, but more on that later.
