Irizar 40th in Vlaanderen

The Ronde van Vlaanderen isn`t Euskaltel`s favourite race. That was obvious today, as only 2 out of 8 Euskaltel riders finished today`s race. Though, Markel Irizar placed an honourable 40th, ahead of riders like Stijn Devolder, Fabian Cancellara and Thor Hushovd. The other Euskaltel rider to finish today`s race was Alan Pérez, who came in 102nd. There really isn`t much more to tell I`m afraid...
