Stars turn up for Cyclassics
Euskaltel fill field a surprisingly strong eight-man team for Sunday's one-day Vattenfall Cylassics Pro Tour event in Germany. The rather flat race more often than not sees a sprinter prevailing from quite a big group, so no points for guessing Koldo's on the start-sheet. Whats more surprising though, and a lot more interesting, is the inclusion of Samu, Igor and Mikel Nieve, all ace climbers. The latter two are gearing up for the Vuelta later this month, so they probably want to get some racing in. Samu is probably looking at squeezing out the last bit of post-Tour fitness he's used to such devastating effect of late and possibly grab some more Pro Tour points. Filling out the roster will be the strong quartet of Aitor Hernández, Iñaki Isasi, Alán and Rubén Pérez.
