New writers

I'm glad to announce that, as you might have noticed by now, two writers have joined the website to help keep it up to date and relevant. Their names are Josh Buehner and Chris Kuntz, they're both Americans, and both possess bags of knowledge on Basque cycling. In the future (more precisely around the turn of the year), we intend to move Basque Cycling News away from the blog-concept and over to a more regular news site (so to speak) with a modified domain name. All in due time though - we'll keep you posted!

Cheers, Gents!

Josh I remember you advocating for Etxeondo and BH as Official Products of the Euro Cyclist, is that page still popular?

Compliments Magnus on a job beautifully done, I look forward to reading what all three of you have to say! And of course it's gratifying there are other Americans who are Basque cycling nuts out there...

Eskerrik asko!

I'm anxious to start chipping in once I get my telecom. issues settled guys! Magnus has got some exciting plans for the future coming! Without his hard work and dedication as well as the readership of our 'little community', it's safe to say we wouldn't be here today.

And yes Nick, it's still there! It had it's ups and downs though after 6 long years. I'd like to think my persuasive arguments on the quality of Etxeondo apparel got it on the approved list:) BH didn't make the cut, but I still hold it in higher esteem than Orbeas.

Josh, Do you work in the bike industry in the US? I work for one of the larger wholesale distributors.

No, but I wish! Now I'm just chilling in Albuquerque New Mexico.

Seeing as how I am only a mediocre racer, part of my master cycling plan when moving to the Basque Country two years ago was to get into that sort of thing. I toured the BH factory tho and it was pretty amazing! I love those sleek frames. Never got to see Orbea's tho. And in many a group ride, Joseba Beloki was trying to tout his new line of Cosmo bikes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj3EmgvUeZE .

I tried to ask for an internship of sorts, but the economy took a dump and cut back on visas...yaydayada..

You work for a distributor of BH?

Hey Josh, No I work for Hawley LLC. We sell everything from Zipp Wheels to kenda tubes. Over 22,000 parts and accessories. We used to be the importer for Storck frames which was awesome, but we have since both gone our separate ways.

Sounds like a fun job! Do you mess around with apparel or accessories at all? I'd love to get my hands on some Catlike glasses.
