Iban hampered by pain

According to DEIA, the reason for Iban`s poor ride yesterday, when he lost 9:28 to the winner, was a consequence of the injuries he got from the recent fall in Paris-Nice. Iban said to the Spanish newspaper that the pain in his banged-up left knee, his ribs and his elbow made it impossible for him to stay with the best. It`s getting better, but he still feels the pain. Though, I expect Iban to show himself on the next stages nonetheless, probably through a break.
