Peña, that was in the Giro I believe?

And agree with you on most points. Euskaltel did a good season, but had to win some more to get a higher mark.

definetely, they lack wins. Aketza's positive was revealed while riding the Giro, but was actually taken in the Giro di Trention. I think that was in April or something!! What's happening with that test???

Yeah the Giro sucked big time, but I don't think Euskaltel will ride it next year. What do you mean with the Tour as most unlucky performance ??

Fighting so hard for a stagewin, but couldn't grab one.

Oh ok, yeah that's true, they really deserved it

Aketza's B sample is in Greece... that was the last news we had from it, and this is... long time ago!!

Magnus said...

Yeah, I heard Greece was mentioned as well. Do we have a new false positive on our hands???

Think so. Also Euskaltel (on Dutch forums) has a dopingreputation. "I don't trust Basque riders", they say. Always become angry then of course.

Magnus said...

Why is that you think?

I don't understand it at all.

Also Spain in general is all doping in their opinion. That is he only reason I can give...

Magnus said...

Well, I can agree on that. I read an interview with Roberto Heras today... Man, his attitudes are lame...

Spain and Italy aren't really good ambassadors for anti-doping attitude, I think we all know that! They really need to change their attitude... But, of course that doesn't mean that people should suspect every Spanish and Italian rider for using drugs... But I don't blame people for being skeptical, they haven't done anything to deserve a better reputation...

But Euskaltel is one of the cleanest teams of the peleton.

Yeah, probably...
